BIT Training’s Chief Marketing Officer Sam Snowdon added:
“Skills Bootcamp candidates provide employers with motivated, early-career talent who have completed intensive, job-focused training. With over 100 individuals across Devon and Cornwall ready to begin careers in IT, AI and Project Management, and with Lauren bringing strong recruitment expertise and first-hand bootcamp insight, we are even better placed to connect businesses with high-quality, locally developed talent ”
Lauren – Abi French commented:
“I’m thrilled to be joining BIT Training at such an exciting time for skills development in the South West. My focus will be on working closely with employers to connect them with local talent, helping individuals take their first steps into Tech and Digital careers, and supporting organisations to build skilled, job-ready teams. BIT Training’s Skills Bootcamps, apprenticeships, and upskilling programmes offer a real opportunity to develop the practical skills businesses need, and I’m looking forward to helping both employers and learners make the most of them. Having been through the bootcamps myself before joining the organisation, I know just how hardworking and passionate the students are. I can’t wait to support them into employment opportunities.”
In addition to Skills Bootcamps, Lauren will support apprenticeship recruitment and BIT Training’s wider commercial training portfolio, helping organisations build sustainable talent pipelines, reduce recruitment risk, and invest strategically in Tech and Project Management skills development.
